If I see one more body positive image with only women with hourglass figures I am going to lose my shit.
You’re part of the problem and why I like I’ll never be a *~*~*real woman*~*~ because I have straight figure, and you can fuck right off. You’re part of the reason I cry at night over how I look, because even if I reach whatever weight, I’ll never look like your “fat/body positive drawings”. Thin women without a defined waist are still women. Fat women without a defined waist are still women. Women without tits are still women. Women with giant tits and a giant belly are still women. Stop trying to define body positivity in only one body shape that has different sizes. In summary, fuck you.
Portrait of the blogger as a fuck you all I hate you and everything you selectively stand for.
I made a joke about my brother getting drafted and mentioned Selective Service and my brother asked, “What’s that?” He’s 19. ”No, seriously? What’s that?”
BRB, I’ll be spending all night mocking my brother and telling him about all the time he’s going to spend in jail for breaking a federal mandate.
Dropping out of school, smoking, disobeying federal law…. kid’s going all out with this second child rebel thing.
A mutual acquaintance/cohort had told me to look at something on his wall and I couldn’t see it because we weren’t friends. Achievement unlocked?
My best bro is trying to argue a point of sexism with me. One of these days I’m going to snap and tell him that his ex-girlfriend, whose well-known feminist internet writings he puts his whole man-feminist stock in, is pretty much the poster child of everything wrong with white feminism.
Sorry bro. I think she’s kind of elitist and terrible. I know I’m not a genius like her, and you haven’t stuck your dick in me like you have her, but that doesn’t make my feminism less valid.
Marc Aronson- Diversity in Librarianship
I mean yeah there are no POC but you know what’s really important? The fact that there are no men. Let’s add men. White men. We’re the ones who really suffer.
Is it any wonder I dislike my program so much?
like lol bro, you know why it’s largely women? Because Melvil Dewey, along with others at the time, thought that women were docile, could handle repetitive work, and wouldn’t think for themselves too much.
Oh, and don’t forget that whole thing where he was a massive sexual predator who harassed other women librarians/students so much he got kicked out of the ALA - an organization he founded - in 1906 for it. There’s even a story about him raping a woman at one of the first conferences. One of my male LIS profs told it like it was a funny anecdote about an eccentric figure. Fucking hilarious.
